Delilah Brothers
Hi, I’m Delilah — a self-taught artist who’s been drawing for as long as I can remember. I moved around a lot growing up, and art became the one constant I could always turn to. It gave me comfort, a way to process emotions, and a space that felt fully my own. That connection stuck with me, and it still drives how and why I create.
My work explores both the emotional and visual extremes — from dark, raw, and unsettling to soft, quiet, and nature-inspired. I like playing with contrast: beauty and discomfort, delicate and eerie, peaceful and strange. Whether it’s a moody portrait or a serene, dreamy scene, I try to make art that feels honest.
I primarily work in drawing and acrylic painting, often using colored pencils, ink, and paint to build layered, expressive pieces. I also incorporate photography and mixed media, but my focus stays rooted in traditional, hands-on techniques. I’m always experimenting and open to trying new styles — especially when a project lets me explore deeper emotion or atmosphere through my work.
